Abstract Background Leishmaniasis is a parasitic disease transmitted by the bite of sandflies that can affect different body systems. It stated 350 million people in world are at risk infection [1, 2]. Dermatological disorders as like cutaneous leishmaniasis known to have negative effects on psychosocial status and quality life children [3]. The aim this study was determine dermatological before after treatment, duration positive changes other factors due treatment patients with leishmaniasis(CL) aged 6-17 years. Methods This follow-up conducted Sanliurfa Cutaneous Diagnosis Treatment Center(SCLDTC) between December 2019 November 2020. included 48 years, who applied SCLDTC suspicion CL, were diagnosed accepted intralesional pentavalent antimony compounds. Results median age participating 11.5(mean 11.4 ± 2.7) lesions present facial area 41.7% patients. families 47.9% seasonal agricultural workers. found social anxiety score started decrease end 3rd month continued 6th treatment. depression stigma scores remained same level until 6 months(p < 0.05). Conclusions observed life, which negatively affected CL children, changed positively Furthermore, it improvement lasted least months dimensions rates. Key messages anxiety, depression, stigmatization scores, for despite Children 7–11 group SAW should be considered high-risk terms burden associated disease.
